The International Cement Production Seminar is now open for registration. The seminar offers more than 40 different lectures adding up to 100 hours of training, group work and a plant visit tour to the USA to supplement theoretical knowledge.
The seminar will take place in Copenhagen in the period 3 – 22 May 2015. The seminar will be the 46th of its kind, and during the entire seminar, the participants will be in direct contact with some of the most knowledgeable specialists within the cement industry.
The seminar consists of more than 40 different lectures adding up to 100 hours of training, group work and a plant visit tour to a cement plant in the USA to supplement theoretical knowledge. Furthermore, the seminar also has an academic approach when it collaborates with the Technical University of Denmark on giving the participants insight on the latest research within the field.
For the complete list of topics covered during the seminar and for contact details, please have a look at our brochure >>
The seminar will inspire the participants with new ideas for plant optimization, and a participant from a previous seminar describes his experience as follows:
"The International Seminar on Cement Production is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all of us as process engineers and plant managers. The course opens new doors to technology, experiences, best practices and innovation, which will increase our area of influence in order to achieve our goals.
The three weeks of the seminar seem very short when you look at its huge content regarding cement production, but FLSmidth has structured it well and there is a perfect balance between the theory of the process, maintenance aspects, new technologies and technical visits, which reinforce the knowledge acquired.
The cement seminar has the strength to create knowledge networks in which chemical, electrical and mechanical engineers can share their knowledge and experience to improve and resolve the new challenges in the cement industry. The Cement Seminar is undoubtedly a must for those wishing to attain new levels of excellence."
