Since 1997, FLSmidth has been in partnership with the leading Spanish cement manufacturer Cementos Lemona.

With a PlantLine™ Service Agreement and a QCX system in place, and now in the final stages of implementing a ProcessExpert system for process optimisation, Process Manager Inigo San Jose Ortiz says that the trust in FLSmidth runs deep, according to this video>.

Señor Oritz explains that CRH Group, Cementos Lemona’s parent company, has “entrusted FLSmidth for the project for the process control development in kilns and mills in many plants”, not just in Cementos Lemona in Spain.

In addition, Señor Oritz explains that Cementos Lemona especially values “the training that is provided through FLSmidth, either in our plant or in FLSmidth’s technology centres.”

Through PlantLine Service Agreements, plant managers have access to the remote, highly skilled and specialist FLSmidth support team 24/7; they are people with the skills to provide a high priority response as urgent issues arise, as well as routine support, maintenance and training.

LiveConnect™ Go2FLS technology is the backbone to FLSmidth’s PlantLine Service Agreements. It’s a state-of-the-art system that facilitates secure, remote access to critical plant systems, via the internet. Go2FLS recently celebrated its 10th birthday – that’s 10 years of outstanding remote service, troubleshooting, and engineering and commissioning support from a team comprised of up to 50 simultaneously working supporters.
