A new milestone in Online Support Service to cement plants

FLSmidth has signed a contract on November, 04 2016 in Copenhagen between FLSmidth and S.S.B. International Limited for Online Support Services, Training and delivery of spare parts for operation and maintenance of the cement plant owned by Arab Union Contracting Co. (AUCC) in Zliten, Libya.

The Online Support Service includes a team of dedicated specialists supporting S.S.B. International on every aspect of the daily operation and maintenance from our Online Technical Support Centre in Cairo, Egypt. This agreement shows FLSmidth’s strong commitment providing our customers in Libya with continuous assistance and support.

FLSmidth has been cooperating with AUCC since 2008 when the first production line was supplied. The second production line was completed and operational in 2010. The daily production of both lines are 9,200 tonnes of clinker per day. 

This contract will secure Online Support Service to the plant from FLSmidth Group experts. FLSmidth Operation & Maintenance (former NLSupervision) is a part of the FLSmidth Group. The company can execute and take full responsibility for all O&M activities within a cement plant and can also manage adjacent quarries. FLSmidth Operation & Maintenance has 10 production lines under their responsibility with a total installed capacity of 16.8 mtpa clinker.
