New numbering convention for FLSmidth's OK™ mills

July 13, 2017 John Terembula

FLSmidth is changing the way the OK mill is numbered.

The new numbering convention better reflects the actual mill size and makes it easier for customers to identify which mill is right for them. Starting from 17 July 2017, reference materials and new proposals will use the new numbering shown in the table below.

The new numbering does not change the mill design, or any aspect of maintenance or after-sales services, which will continue to be delivered with the skill and insight our customers have come to expect when partnering with FLSmidth.

OK™ mill
The OK™ mill has been FLSmidth’s standard cement VRM since 1993. Since its introduction, the OK mill has proven to be the most efficient cement VRM available, with the highest reliability and ease of operation.
