Join our seminar "From the Mine to the Product" in Halle, Germany from the 13-15th of March 2017

December 13, 2016

Discover how to improve the quality of your processes - all the way from the mine to the product. The seminar is organised by the Mineralogical/Geochemical Group at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg in cooperation with FLSmidth.

Changing environmental regulations, current demands for plants to operate 24/7/365 and challenges balancing increased quality against lowering production costs add to the complexity of production plant operation today. Managing efficient and effective plant quality and process control systems help simplify some of those complexities. This seminar provides an insight into industry trends and challenges facing building material and mineral producers today.

Join with us to share information with like-minded professionals working in the building materials and minerals industries, and learn about the latest process and quality control techniques used along their complete production processes.

The two full-day seminar will provide valuable opportunities for networking, sharing ideas and catching up on the latest developments in sampling, sample preparation and analysis.

It will cover all aspects along the process stream – from sampling raw materials through to receipt of analytical results for process and quality control. This includes sample transport, sample preparation and analysis in automated environments. During the seminar there will also be the opportunity to present and discuss posters.

Please download the invitation for further information and read about the preliminary programme that has now been released.

The seminar will be hosted by Prof. Dr. Dr. Herbert Pöllmann and his team from the Martin Luther University, one of the oldest universities in Germany. Prof. Dr. Dr. Pöllmann is well-known for his theoretical and practical expertise in these fields for many years. He regularly works in cooperation with specialists from FLSmidth Automation, supported by other leading technology providers.
