With FLSmidth’s and China National Building Material’s (CNBM) recent framework agreement, producers can look forward to the industry’s most competitive plant solutions ever. Both future greenfield plants and existing lines will reap the benefits of the collaboration, including improved performance, delivery time and productivity.

Mr. Song Zhiping, Chairman of CNBM Group (left), and Thomas Schulz, Group CEO of FLSmidth (right), shake hands after signing the framework agreement at a high-level meeting at FLSmidth headquarters in Denmark.

The agreement combines the strengths of both companies: FLSmidth has a long-established tradition of delivering the engineering, products, construction supervision, commissioning and training that create the most efficient cement plants in the world. Meanwhile, CNBM Group is both the world’s largest cement producer and the undisputed leader in cement plant construction.

Through this framework agreement, we see numerous benefits over the coming years for us and our customers, such as expediting our quotation response time, which will improve our delivery performance and increase productivity." - Thomas Schulz, Group CEO, FLSmidth.
